Anatolij Truhlar

Anatolij Truhlář, MD, PhD, FERC

Dr. Anatolij Truhlář is a consultant in anaesthesiology and emergency medicine in the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) of the Hradec Kralove Region and Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine, University Hospital Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic. He is currently working as an EMS Medical Director and a leading physician at one of the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) bases.

In 2010, Anatolij became the Chairman of the Czech Resuscitation Council (CzeRC), in 2011 was elected as a Board member of the Czech Society for Emergency and Disaster Medicine, and in 2013 as a Board Member of the European Resuscitation Council (ERC), firstly as a representative of the National Resuscitation Councils and since 2016 as a Director Congresses. He was the lead author of the 2015 ERC Guidelines chapter on Cardiac Arrest in Special Circumstances.
