Viktor von Bahr

Dr von Bahr is a last year Ph D student at Karolinska Institutet in Sweden, and works clinically as an anesthesiologist/intensivist in training. His research focus has been on long-term survival and cognitive functions in survivors from the experienced Karolinska ECMO Centre (with more than 1,000 patients treated since 1987). During 2017 he conducted a research fellowship at the Critical Care Research Group in Brisbane, Australia, investigating the role and safety of mesenchymal stem cells in ECMO, as part of the CELTIC study.
