Jae-Seung Jung

Jung, Jae-Seung M.D., Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, the Director of ECMO Team and the Advisor of Organ Transplantation Center at Anam Hospital, Korea University Medical Center in Seoul, Rep. of Korea. He is board certified by the Korean Board of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery and Critical Care Medicine.

He is a steering committee member of APELSO. He is a member of multiple national societies including the Korean Society of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Critical Care of Medicine, and Heart Failure and Transplantation.

He is a specialist of Heart Transplantation, ECMO and Cardiac Surgery.

He has an ongoing interest in Heart–Lung Transplantation, Aortic Surgery, Arrhythmia Surgery and ECMO. He is also involved in research, developing Xenotransplantation, Artificial Organs and Results of ECMO.
