Brief summary of research
Coordinator of research projects on long-term follow-up of children with congenital anatomical malformations and those treated with extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO). These children are followed from 0-18 years using a standardized and structured approach, in which we collect medical, developmental, and psychologic data – including quality of life. Results form the basis for international peer-reviewed papers, doctoral dissertations, presentations at national and international meetings, and teaching activities. Thesis supervisor: five PhD-students have successfully finished their thesis; another six are expected to defend within the next three years.
