Paolo Meani

Dr Paolo Meani has graduated at Milano Bicocca Medical School in 2012.

He is currently cardiologist in the last year of his training, working at Cardiologic ICU Cardio Center Niguarda Hospital (Milan).

He moved his first steps cooperating with De Maastricht Studie. Therefore, he spent 13 months in the Academic Hospital Maastricht, where he worked in the Cardiology Department and ICU.

He is a PhD Fellow at Medical University Center Maastricht. His research topic is left ventricular unloading during ECLS.

He was the 2017 EUROELSO basic science research grant winner.
